The greenhouse cover is transparent with optimal light transmission, which will secure perfect growth conditions inside the greenhouse. The light and flexible polytunnel greenhouse allows you to enjoy gardening from early spring to autumn. Order today and start looking forward to going into the warm greenhouse filled with lush plants growing a little every single day.
How to make the most of your polytunnel greenhouse
Please note that a polytunnel greenhouse is a seasonal structure only to be used from early spring until late summer/early autumn depending on the climate in your area. The polytunnel greenhouse is a light structure as opposed to, e.g. a polycarbonate greenhouse with a solid aluminium frame. A polytunnel greenhouse can be sensible to strong wind, heavy rain or snow. Please take a look at our Safety Advice.
Ground skirt for securing your polytunnel greenhouse
When you set up this polytunnel greenhouse, you must secure it by fastening the ground skirt at the bottom of the cover. The cover has a 20 cm surplus of material along the bottom edge at the ground. This surplus is called the ground skirt, and you need to either bury it or place heavy objects on it to weigh down the greenhouse for safety reasons.
Dancover expert tip: You must always ensure that the polytunnel greenhouse cover is stretched and taut. Otherwise, water can pile on the roof during rain, and the weight of the water may cause the greenhouse to collapse!
