Transparent polytunnel greenhouse cover in PEDirt skirt for securityCover for our polytunnel greenhouse (GH16135 and GH16235), which allows you to enjoy gardening from early spring well into the autumn. Growing products of your own is great and serving your vegetables for your family is a wonderful feeling. How to make the most of your polytunnel greenhousePlease note that our range of polytunnel greenhouses are intended as seasonal structures only to be used from early spring until late summer/early autumn depending on the weather. The reason for this limitation is that a polytunnel greenhouse is a light structure – as opposed to, e.g. our polycarbonate greenhouses with strong aluminium frames. Our polytunnel greenhouses are not made to withstand heavy wind, strong rain or snow. Please read our Safety Advice before setting up the greenhouse.Ground skirt for securing your polytunnel greenhousePlease note that it is important that you secure your polytunnel greenhouse when you set it up. All our polytunnel greenhouses have a surplus of cover along the bottom edge at the ground – even the ones where you cut the cover yourself! This surplus is called the ground skirt, and you need to either bury this ground skirt or place heavy objects on it to weigh down the greenhouse for safety reasons.Dancover expert tip: Polytunnel greenhouses are great for growing a variety of different plants. Remember to water frequently, ventilate as much as possible and harvest your crops regularly! It is extremely important that you keep the cover on the polytunnel greenhouse stretched and taut at all times. Otherwise, a risk emerges that during a rainfall water pile up on the roof of your greenhouse, which may cause the greenhouse to collapse.
In the case of strong wind, it is your responsibility to secure the tent adequately and prevent it from injuring materials and people. When it snows, a risk emerges that snow pile up on the roof of your tent. Heavy snow may cause the tent to collapse. It is your responsibility to remove snow from the roof of your tent and save your tent from damage. Please be sure that your tent is completely dry before you take it down and pack it up. Thus you avoid mould and mildew.Do not pack or unpack your tent at subzero temperatures.Do not use open fire, welding equipment or other sources of ignition, inside or close to the tent. Please note that the Dancover warranty applies only to the normal use of the product happening in accordance with the written instructions in your manual. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Neither does it cover damage, defect, wear and tear caused by misuse, poor maintenance, abuse, unauthorized modification or exposure to bad weather conditions. We recommend you to check whether your tent is covered by your home contents insurance.
Marquees are made for use at parties and other festive arrangements and are as such only meant for short term temporary assembly and the following disassembly. Please note that the warranty will not apply if used in any other way.
